Why Book Festival Housing At Northstar?
Q. Why should I book festival housing at Northstar when I can find a lower rate on my own?
A. Are you sure you can find lower rates elsewhere? Negotiated hotel rates provide many benefits for you and for the Festival at Northstar. In order to secure meeting room space at any convention center, LifeResource Ministries must sign a contract with the convention center that guarantees that a specified number of hotel rooms will be booked by our conference attendees. The number of rooms guaranteed is called the room block. As the number of rooms in the room block increases, costs to LifeResource Ministries decrease, which we are able to pass along to festival attendees in the form of food and activity subsidies. This is a way to take care of those who don't have as many financial resources as others or who have large families.
If attendees stay at Northstar LifeResource Ministries will fulfill its contractual obligation with the resort. If attendees stay in other hotels, we face the possibility that its room block will not be met, forcing us to pay much more for the meeting rooms. We ask that you please consider staying at Northstar.
