Dates
The Feast of Tabernacles in 2010 begins on September 22, Tuesday evening at sunset and ends on September 30, Thursday evening at sunset.
About Northstar Resort
LifeResource Ministries will host the Feast of Tabernacles 2010 at the Northstar at Tahoe resort, near Truckee, California, six miles from Lake Tahoe. The elevation is 6.100 feet, year-round average temperature, 78 degrees. Last year we had a light dusting of snow and then warm sunny days the rest of the festival.
This ski and summer resort has an amazing array of activities and housing, not to mention world class scenery and nearby attractios.

Presenting at the Festival
We always have plenty of people who want to give sermons at the Feast. Sermon time, however, is limited. But we have many opportunities to enrich the lives of others in much more practical and effective ways via our robust workshop schedule.
We are looking for people who have something to offer in the way of skills that people can take home and use in their families, congregations and communities.
Here are some examples:
- How to build a web site for your congregation
- How to teach Sabbath School classes so kids will like them
- How to do lunch for 100 people at the Feast without killing yourself
- The most important part of parenting
- How to find and use your spiritual gifts
- How to improve your marriage
- How to engage your community with service projects
- How to organize and host a Camp Outreach
- How to pray for the children in your congregation
- How to do interactive home Bible studies.
We find it interesting that many of us, though we have been attending church for years, don't feel like we have anything to teach people that would enrich their spiritual skill set.
Our situation reminds us of the Hebrews, who were told by the apostle Paul that by now they should be teachers but were so spiritually delayed that they still needed the milk of infancy rather than solid food. (See Hebrews 5:12.)
Through our workshop program we want to help turn that around by sending people home with skills they can use and teach to others. Come and help us make a difference for the Church of God.
