Interactive Bible Studies

Why would a site that advocates for the spiritual growth of children include a section on interactive Bible studies?

It all goes back to the tree. David said a person who follows God is like a tree planted by a river. No matter if it rains or not, the tree is supplied by an unseen source of water. It thrives in all conditions.

Along a similar line Jesus said He was like a grape vine and we are like the branches. He supplies the nutrients we need to do great things in his name.

As mortal humans, we can know nothing of a spirit God unless he reveals it to us. We have no way of knowing what He wants us to do except through the Bible, which is His chosen way of communicating to us.

Studying the Bible is like the underground water source for the tree in David's Psalm. Or like Christ, who is the vine to which all of us are attached. The Bible even tells us that it is "the Word of God."

It is important for Christians, if they want to live for God, to study God's word. How does a person, a parent, a congregational member, a minister impart faith to a child? The answer is in the Bible. If we will study it, we will learn how to be useful tools in God's hands to transmit his faith to our children.

We believe part of the reason that so many churches are losing their children to a secular society is because we have not sought to learn what God says about our children and how to care for them. We try to raise awareness of this issue by promoting the study of the Bible.

We also believe study is often more beneficial when done with others. We know interaction helps us learn. We know even teens enjoy getting together with friends. Why not get together to study God's word?
